This Advent Cat ranking does NOT use the same methodology that’s used throughout this document for ubers. The standard and balance is drastically different than ubers due to them being free units and impacted by their progression point.
It’s also worth saying that the letter grades for the Advent Cats list is not proportional to the uber lists. A unit ranking C tier on this list does NOT mean they rank C tier on the uber list, these Advent Cats are being distributed in a vacuum.
Likewise to the Special Legends tier list, some of these placements are goverened by what point of the game you acquire these units. Use cases are based on a practical non-uber scenario, meaning units acquired from exceedingly difficult advents in the end game will be looked unfavorably due to lacking abundant applicable use cases.

"Why is Bowler cat so low? Isn't he a decent anti-Traitless debuffer?"
His role is not valuable due to the existence of Glass, Vendor, and Jagando. Most times where you want to debuff a Traitless are in boss scenarios of which the former 3 work better than Bowler in. Bowler is also acquired from Xenobeast, one of the hardest advents. You'd already be done with the hardest Traitless stages by the time he is acquired.
"Why is Green Shell Cat so low? Isn't he a great defensive wall?"
In harder late game stages, his HP pool gets deleted super fast. If you want better defense, utilize research combos with Ramen or Rock, the latter in particular being objectively stronger as a momentary staller with huge HP. Green Shell has no place in the meta besides cheese strats and certain startoffs.
"Royal Guard is super OP! He should be higher!"
Royal Guard has several flaws being a frail melee unit with rapid attacks, dealing good DPS when sustained but having poor burst. He is good specifically for handling Infernal 49 and 1 crown UL, however both his anti-Relic and melee capabilities are outclassed by UL Legend true forms or cats like Can Can and Slime. His more relevant field for post-UL happens to be Alien target to overshadow Chill Cat.
