“Why is Shishilan a whole two tiers below Asiluga and Balaluga? I thought he was the second best by a big margin?”
Shishilan is below Asiluga and Balaluga mainly because Shishilan starts falling off extremely hard in later parts of the game. In mid game content, Shishilan works extremely well due to being an upgraded Crazed Bahamut where his huge damage per hit and insane amount of chances to reposition come to his benefit and outweigh his flaw of long attack rate and foreswing. This changes later in the game where his lack of speed, tendency to miss a lot, and very slow attack rate leads to an uber with very poor mobility. His insane KB count also severely disadvantages Shishilan in many stages, as he has one of the worst bulk in the whole game and gets juggled frequently by even the slightest breeze, rendering him useless on any stage with a hint of piercing backliner. Asiluga and Balaluga do not share these weaknesses and have unparalleled consistency across end game due to their high range and strong procs.
“Why is Balaluga above Asiluga?”
Balaluga and Asiluga are both basically the same uber in terms of viability. Currently I have Balaluga higher since his freeze + weaken proc is much stronger than Asiluga’s slow, but Asiluga does have better range, small chip, combo, and faster attack rate. These two placements are perfectly interchangeable.
"Why is Furiluga so high? I though he was an awful uber who only shield pierces?"
Observe his talents.
"Why is Kaoluga so high? There's no way an average sniper could be placed so high."
Combo.
