Versatility mainly shows how an uber does outside of their niche/ their primary function.

A unit that is usable even outside of their primary function means that the unit is more flexible and more likely to do better across the majority of the stages in the game.

For pure generalists, versatility is often combined with their niche, as a generalist’s primary function is to be versatile. This is why generalists have a different criteria for ranking compared to pure specialists.

The reason why this category does not have as much weight as niche is because being usable outside of your primary function is not a necessary trait to have in order to be strong in the meta.
