"Justice Strikes Back! Dark Heroes (逆襲の英雄ダークヒーローズ) is one of the Rare Cat Capsule events in Battle Cats. This event was added in Version 4.0 of Nyanko Daisensou on July 13th, 2015. All Uber Rares in this set have a different use with each form and are all anti-Alien."

(First Form): A backliner with below average stats, sluggish foreswing, and a mediocre freeze against Aliens.
(Evolved Form): Becomes a slightly stronger but still weak backliner through strengthen and wave immune.
(True Form): A powerful backliner with high stats, wielding previous abilities and strong against Alien and Aku. Creates surge attacks for unique piercing action.
(First Form): A backliner with below average stats and a weak resistance against Dark and Alien.
(Evolved Form): Loses Dark target to inflict knockback and weaken against Alien.
(True Form): A powerful backliner with extreme damage against Alien and Angel due to massive damage. Inflicts many procs and dodges for high defense. Lacks mobility.

(Evolved Form): Swaps out base destroyer for money up and targets Alien and Angel.

(Ultra Form): Gains stronger wave and faster foreswing to become effective as a generalist and against Relic and Zombie.

(Evolved Form): Now targets Alien and Zombie.

(True Form): Now targets Alien and Aku to push, although the latter trait is flawed due to shields and many anti-melee enemies.

(First Form): A backliner with insane resist against Alien and Dark. Offers good long-term chip and high effective HP, but has poor mobility.
(Evolved Form): Switches insane resist for insane damage, becoming focused as a nuker that still retains high bulk but poor mobility.

(First Form): A backliner with multi hit LD attacks combined with many debuffs to juggle and control Alien and Metal. Has below average base stats.
(Evolved Form): His many debuffs becomes freeze and Metal Killer, primarily to deal non-RNG percentage based damage against Metals.

“Why is Akira so high? His Ultra Talent is overpriced and his surge misses.”
Akira is high up because of his surge ultra talent granting him a whole new dynamic to his kit. His DPS is far more justifiable with this form of piercing damage, not to mention with stat talents he can rival the DPS of Ritual Saint Kasli/ Asukasli. He also has 2 powerful niches being alien and aku, having both strong and freeze against both. Lastly he has a wide array of qualities such as good survivability, strengthen, and wave immune. His overall stats and ability set are reminiscent of what you’d find near top 10/ top 15 ubers. His surge does not miss and we don't give a damn about investment cost.

“Why is Catman so high? He is old and generic, he should be lower.”
He’s adequately placed. The uber right below him, pre-UT Warlock, shares many similarities. Catman has the same role as Warlock but has higher stats against floating, angel, and alien (except when compared to Klay) while also having relic target, better survivability, and ability to hit other traits. In comparison to Warlock, Catman is a close rival and deserves his rank even if he’s a fairly old uber.
